Add the remaining 150g of butter and the caster sugar and blitz again to combine. Line with a double layer of non-PVC clingfilm, then fill with uncooked rice. On a flour-dusted surface, roll out the pastry to about 3mm thick, then loosely roll it up around the rolling pin and unroll over the oiled tin, easing and pushing it carefully into the sides. Lightly oil a 25cm non-stick loose-bottomed tart tin. Wrap in clingfilm and pop into the fridge to chill for 30 minutes. To make the pastry, finely grate the zest of 1 orange into a food processor, add 125g of butter, the flour, icing sugar, vanilla paste and l egg, then pulse until it comes together into a ball of dough. A couple of notes – I roll the pastry between clingfilm as this is far easier and less messy than the traditional way! I also substituted baking paper for non-PVC clingfilm in order to bake the tart blind, as I’m not sure you can get the latter in Australia. The pastry and frangipane are both flavoured with orange zest, which adds to the piquancy of the tart. Pears are baked on top of the frangipane. You process whole hazelnuts, so the texture is quite gritty compared with traditional almond or hazelnut meal. The frangipane is made with hazelnuts rather than almonds. I also baked “Pear and Hazelnut Tart”, a twist on a classic frangipane tart. I couldn’t wait to start my baking, so this weekend I made a lovely chicken dish, “Chicken under a Brick”. It’s beautiful! WeWork will lease the 36th, 37th and 38th floors of the 61-story tower, which is set to become the tallest building in San Francisco when it opens early next year. The company is imagining the new headquarters as not just a warm room for about 250 employees, but as a foothold in the tech community. In a move that will serve as a counterpoint to that perception, the New York-based WeWork on Thursday said it would open a second headquarters in an iconic building in the heart of tech-land - in San Francisco’s new Salesforce Tower. It grew to become one of San Francisco’s largest tenants by signing long-term leases and renting out desks by the month to entrepreneurs and larger companies. The knock on WeWork, the $20 billion startup that offers sleek communal office space, has long been that it isn’t a true tech company, critics say. It looks a little weird to me. Here it seems to me that the story is better written, and that everything is going in a more natural way. I didn't expect this, but man, I LOVE this path ha ha ha. Too quickly, Mistress overcame Lucrezia. The story that she was in prison seems a bit like a parody to me and is incomplete - but I believe that it will develop over time. Lucrezia looks like a schizophrenic to me and I'm a little scared of her ha ha. Huge potential for humiliating Augusto (and therefore huge potential for some foot fetish content he he) This is my review of the v0.9, I hope it does not bother anyone, and that it can be useful to the developer in some way.I rarely play both ways, but this time I had to ha ha ha. I don't know how the story is going to evolve, but I sincerely hope that Sandro's plot (I'm sorry for beign a pill wiht this) ends as soon as possible and the main story of Cristian and DR is resumed, with all the cuckold/cheating stuff and stop forced and violent sex. The beginning of the game seemed spectacular to me and promised a lot, I was looking forward to playing, but once the aforementioned happened.Īnd yes, I was really cut off by that last episode, that I had to leave the job half done.įor the rest, everything is great: the models of the girls (in special the protagonist is one of the best models I ever seen in porngames of this kind), decisions.etc In the OP it shows that the lover is Cristian, but in 9 chapters that have the game actually, there hasn't been a single sex scene between them, only with Sandro the homeless and Augusto. Another thing I don't understand, we can choose the name of the boss's son but not the name of the 2 main characters? It doesn't make sense to me. And the story that suddenly emerges about the politicians, mafia, and new secret characters gives me the feeling that it's pure filler, I feel that it's irrelevant all that subplot. The final part of chapter 8 and ALL of chapter 9 I skipped it quickly because I found it boring, boring and very boring. Besides his model looks horrible to me, he looks more like a homeless than a photographer for a major lingerie company. It's an empty character that I don't think he contributes anything, and I didn't like his scenes, I don't like the rape/forced sex scenes. I liked the game, but I think Sandro is a character that is unnecessary, and has too much content. ![]() 12/31/2023 0 Comments Chicago moment of silence![]() ![]() Woman accused of attacking police during Capitol riot sentenced to six years in. ![]() House passes defense bill in big win for McCarthy, House GOP Hunter Biden’s lawyer tells Trump posts are putting family in danger Trump blames Chris Christie for ‘mistake’ of nominating FBI director Ĭarlson interview with Tate highlights far-right’s effort to redefine. īiden administration announces $39 billion in student debt relief for 804,000. No wonder that the artist was a great admirer of the Italian Renaissance painter Raphael. His great craftsmanship allowed him to execute his paintings in a nearly photo-realistic style. Recurring images of burning giraffes and melting watches became the artist's surrealist trademarks. The surrealist theory is based on the theories of the psychologist Dr. By 1929 Dali had found his personal style that should make him famous the world of the unconscious that is recalled during our dreams. Years later Breton turned away from Dali accusing him of support of fascism, excessive self-presentation and financial greediness. He established himself as the principal figure of a group of surrealist artists grouped around Andre Breton, who was something like the theoretical ''schoolmaster'' of surrealism. In 1928 Dali went to Paris where he met the Spanish painters Pablo Picasso and Joan Miro. His opinion was that he was more qualified than those who should have examined him. He was expelled twice and never took the final examinations. Dali began to study art at the Royal Academy of Art in Madrid. In 1923 his father bought his son his first printing press. A stretcher bearer at Ypres named William Collins described the pads as more suffocating than the gas: Sir John French, commander in chief of the British Expeditionary Force, decried the attack as evidence of German barbarity: “All the scientific resources of Germany have apparently been brought into play to produce a gas of so virulent and poisonous a nature that any human being brought into contact with it is first paralyzed and then meets with a lingering and agonizing death.”īefore British troops received proper gas masks with rubber seals called box respirators, they were equipped with stop-gap solutions, like thick gauze pads that were strapped tightly over the mouth. But did they violate the spirit of the ban? Absolutely.” “Did technically violate the Hague Convention,” which only specifically banned projectiles filled with poison gas? “No. The British reaction to the German gas attack was “outrage,” says Marion Dorsey, a history professor at the University of New Hampshire and author of A Strange and Formidable Weapon: British Responses to WWI Poison Gas. Many of the deaths occurred when panicked victims rushed to drink water for relief from the burning gas, which only made the chemical reaction worse, flooding their throats and lungs with hydrochloric acid. ![]() None of the British soldiers at Ypres had gas masks, resulting in 7,000 injuries and more than 1,100 deaths from chlorine gas asphyxiation. You see if you got to the bottom of the trench you got the full blast of it because it was heavy stuff, it went down.” Well then of course you immediately began to choke, then word came: whatever you do don’t go down. But immediately it got there we knew what to think, I mean we knew what it was. It wasn’t very high about I would say it wasn’t more than 20 feet up. “he next thing we heard was this sizzling-you know, I mean you could hear this damn stuff coming on-and then saw this awful cloud coming over. British officer Martin Greener described the horror of that first large-scale gas attack to the Imperial War Museum. After early failed efforts by the French and German armies to use tear gas and other irritants in battle, the first successful gas attack was launched by the Germans against the British at the Second Battle of Ypres on April 22, 1915.Īs the battle began, the Germans released 170 metric tons of chlorine gas from more than 5,700 cylinders buried in a four-mile line across the front. Yet from the very start of World War I, both the Allies and Central Powers deployed noxious gasses to incapacitate the enemy or at least strike fear into their hearts. At the dawn of the 20th century, the world’s military powers worried that future wars would be decided by chemistry as much as artillery, so they signed a pact at the Hague Convention of 1899 to ban the use of poison-laden projectiles "the sole object of which is the diffusion of asphyxiating or deleterious gases." ![]() |
